The story starts like this, I am a normal guy and wanted to consider meeting a partner from the Ukraine or Russia. I discovered this website and thought at first, so many attractive women and appearing so genuine with profile promotion! However I became suspicious after reading various profiles, so many had same professions, many had similar needs and requirements, young women looking for old men. Then I discovered loads of messages in my inbox!!yes I admit I am attractive man however something did not feel right, I then looked at my outbox, there was about 200 messages to different women, stating that I had interest in them, well I never composed these letters and it was generated automatically to obviously tempt me to sign up as the ladies then replied to me, by assumption that I sent letters to them first!!3rd issue is once you send messages to a women, only after 5messages by each person will allow you to then exchange personal details, so you are forced in theory to use 100credits, so this site controls the messages and use interpreters to prolong the communication!this site exploits men who are not street savvy! Then I have noticed same profiles online at any hour of the day!!I was investigating my gut instinct!
It's clear many work for agencies to and have agreements with interpreters to ensure credits are purchased!in essence they are exploiting the lust and greed of unrealistic men!be careful of this anastasiaweb site, don't trust anything.

Hello, I wanted to say that, after having been on this site for almost a year and a half I feel it is genuine, and very nicely set up. The website is clean, easy to use, responsive.... the women, of whom there are usually a number of pictures, are in large part very attractive, and many are beautiful.
It does not cost anything to join, but you have to be a member in order to access all the photos for any particular lady and to use their connection services. Email through the site, phone, and video conferencing (a new addition, possible for some ladies only) are available, although they cost 'credits' which are purchased on-site. The lowest cost per email, for example, is $4 (when you buy 100 for $400), but that includes the translation of your letter into Russian (and most of the translations are quite passable in my impression.... the same people at a particular local agency seem to do the translations both ways for the same lady, so it's possible to see how well the translator renders a certain individual's Russian into English, at least). When you are notified you have received an email, you are not required to read it (which costs a credit), and storage of mail, whether read or unread, is free. The ladies do not pay to be on the site (which actually has a Maine, U.S., address), and so your payment is also made to send an email, whether or not it gets read at the other end.
I have only occasionally had them not opened, out of many hundred sent, myself; of course the ladies, unlike us, don't have anything to lose monetarily by reading each one, but what I mean here is that almost always the lady responds with a letter herself. The way the site is set up, you know immediately whether the lady has read your letter, to the date and time, so you can tell how quickly or slowly she decides - or is able - to reply. Usually what happens if a lady is definitely not interested (and also I found this to be rare - at least in my experience they were willing to give you a chance) is a letter is written by the staff saying that the lady has decided you would not be compatible, but it is matter-of-fact and not too discouraging. Sometimes the lady will write the letter herself.
I have not been in a position where I have been able to travel to Ukraine - where almost all the ladies are from - to meet anyone, but I have maintained some lengthy and still ongoing letter correspondence with some who have expressed every interest in meeting me. There have only been a few sour notes.... a few ladies who - for their own reasons - have left the site and become unavailable, and it is impossible to contact them to find out why unless you already have their home addresses (contacts through branch agency addresses usually don't work because the woman no longer uses the site).
Customer service has been thorough for the most part, courteous and helpful, and they maintain they have a number of people whose job it is specifically to check up on questionable women to make sure they are not scammers. I have not had a definitively acknowledged scam experience even after all this time and after writing probably sixty different women altogether. In all but a few cases I was the one who decided to end the correspondence. My only complaint is that they do not provide a similar method where a man can courteously break off a correspondence which is not working out without paying for it, so if you open a letter from a lady (for a credit) but decide you do not wish to respond, you must pay to tell her that you feel it would not be a good match, and this cost can quickly add up because of how many unsolicited letters it is possible to receive.
I wish any readers of this review who decide to give the site a chance good luck, but I would ask you to be respectful and thoughtful when corresponding with these wonderful women who - it seems - are genuinely searching for their life partners.
Thank you.
