Pretty similar experience, but more positive. I encountered several ladies both personally and through video chat (SKYPE, QQ, YAHOO). Some of them are sincere and nice but get ripped off by CHNLOVE. Some of them are bitches looking for additional income. Some of them are under terrible pressure from parents to get married. Most of them are.....desperate.
God, I'm sorry you experienced that. The fact is you don't know whether the lady was telling you the truth or not either. This is life - everyone has secrets and unknown intentions to lie or do evil things. I once dated a lady from Chnlove - we met in the flesh and were about to discuss marriage. Then one day I received an email from her on Chnlove saying that I was not suitable for her, and that she wanted to say goodbye. I was really shocked so I confronted her via personal email. She said it wasn't her who sent the mail; it was the agency. Being curious, I contacted the agency translator who assisted in our meeting when I was in China. The translator told me that my lady did request to send out the mail. She was trying to avoid some charge issue or something with the agency, so she pretended that she was not having any success in using the service and wanted to finish the contract. It was quite embarrassing. I am now thinking whether my lady had always been faithful to me. Anyway, will figure that out later. By the way, talking about translators, I heard that some of them got fired, and for revenge they contatced men causing trouble so that they'd make complaints to the agency. Believe it or not, you never know what people can do to twist the truth, so be careful of the agencies, translators and ladies. I'm not saying don't trust them - just be cautious.

Chnlove is a scam. Nothing but. I used their site and found out that the agencies write all the letters that are supposed to come from the "ladies". Although they say they deliver your letters, they don't. I went to China to meet a "lady" I thoguht I had been corresponding with for 7 months, just to find out she never got a single letter from me and never wrote me a single letter back. It was all the work of her agency. She just waited while they reeled me in and all she wanted to know when she met was how much money I could give her. I also made personal contact with one of the translators who had quit her job and she told me that it was all a scam and that she was ashamed of having taken part in it. Don't waste your money on Chnlove. Stay FAR away.
