First I will answer Atavalaro. No , I am not married, I am divorced and looking for a Chinese wife as I intend to keep living in China. But I will not rush into it.
To grishkachelcash, do you live in Wuhan? Where are all these marriage agencies with English signs in the main street as you mentioned? The definition of the "Main St" in Wuhan is a matter of opinion. In most Chinese cities the main st is Zhongshan Lu ( or Da Dao ) I have not seen any marriage agencies in Wuhan, in either Zhongshan Lu or Yanjiang Da Dao ( the other well known road that runs alongside the Yangtze river ( it is also called Yangtze boulevard ) I lived in Wuhan for eighteen months.
To answer Fagin in regard to living in China: If you want to live there get used to many people spitting anywhere and everywhere. If you are a non-smoker beware: People smoke almost anywhere ( but not on aircraft ) I had one experience in summer where I was in a taxi with the airconditioning on and the windows all up and the driver started smoking. In Wuhan the air quality in general is quite poor, two thirds of the time a thick greyish to brownish hazw hangs over the city ( worse in summer )
Many people also seem have no concept of environmental responsibility eg: I have seen people burn tyres in the street, at my university last year a large rubbish pile was set alight.
Many people still litter the streets, but it is better than when I first went to Wuhan in 2007. and the rubbish that is thrown on the street is cleaned up fairly quickly.
I forgot to say to grishkachelkash that if he in is Wuhan he would realize that most foreigners in Wuhan try to pick up Chinese women at Blue Sky or the Soho disco ( or Vox in Wuchang ), hardly good places to find a Chinese wife.
I am not interested in picking a fight with anyone here. Just be cautious if you are using Chnlove, don't waste lots of money, and don't just go to China to meet a Chnlove girl.
Good luck to all posteres searching for their Chinese princess!
Regards,
Aussie Shane.
