The only further advice I might offer which you from the last (and which you may already have secured on your own) is: once you feel you have established a rapport with your candidate, perhaps ask for a photo of her holding up something you have sent to her (use an independent source, not their online gift shop); propose a possible webcam session for sometime in the near future; and, keep following up politely re. possible external email. If you read some of the contributing posts here you will see there is some comment about how other chnlove-promoter sites may try to discourage you from even thinking of taking such action.
They may claim old culture "losing of face"; suggest you will upset the 'lady'; or, that you 'need to trust her or lose' her. Just advise them: "I have consulted my own Chinese anthropological sources and attorney, and you need not burden me with your poppycock."
So, without prejudice to all concerned, I am here to counsel you that nobody should counsel you about your own instincts or intuition. lol.
To paraphrase, I recently advised sothdarkdrift : only you can tell what your intuition is , not 50 or 80 other observers.
That said, never allow any party or parties to "pressure" you to come to ridiculous decisions based on specious information and false claims nonsense. Keep you eye on the road at all times. The rest will take care of itself.
