Samburn, I think you havent catch the ways of this website: tey are not too much interesting in your real pictures, only in the picture of your pocket. For you maybe is worth, you are not the only one can afford that, but I think no one likes be cheated. Yes, there is a lot in what you say, the problem with pictures became immediately apparent when I met my first Chinese lady and since then I have told all my contacts to stop sending me pictures of beautiful young women and to send me real life pictures of themselves. By and large they have all done this.
Some of the women also have email addresses so it is possible to communicate without buying 'credits' - although the language becomes a bit of a problem unless you learn Chinese.
Speaking to a couple of translators I gather that half the money goes to chnlove, 25% to the local agency and 25% to the girl who translates letters for the lady.
One thing to bear in mind is that chnlove do not control the agencies, these are all run independantly and they all have different arrangements with their clients. Some charge if the woman meets a foreign man, some do not. The cost of hiring a translator varies from city to city.
I must say that all the women I met were very nice ladies and guenuinely looking for a life partner, we just never clicked!

YOU'VE misunderstood me. When you upload your own photo's you are told to post real photo's of yourself. But the one's on every profie on chnlove are heavily photoshopped sometimes nowhere near the real person.
Even the poorest Chinese woman can set up an account in an internet bar at very little cost, some of them even have webcams so you can see exactly what you're getting. They can usually get by to start with in communications too with translation software but even if they cant they can pay an independant Translator a small fee then reply to you on your personal email address. I do know all of this from personal experience.
chnlove are stinking, scamming cheating scum. They will have you spend 100's of dollars on communications with a single women in translations alone. THEY are controlling the whole thing with the women tied to a contract.
Yes, it was quite expensive but i can afford it and I enjoy travelling in China because it is a beautiful country. The expense was no problem and i did not spend the money to make friends, the friends were a bonus so please do not try to twist my words!
Again you misunderstand me. Chnlove did not ask for real life photos of me, I asked for real life photos of the women that I was going to meet.
I do not think tha chnlove are cheats and swindlers. I think that you get what you pay for.
I do agree that CLL (Chinese Love Links) offer a better service for a western man because the women on this website do write and/or speak a little English and generally have their own computers and web cams so you can communicate with the real person.
Well if you've been there on a number of occasions that in itself must have cost 1000's. Thats a pretty expensive way of making ' several friends '
Its a bit rich of chnlove to ask for only ' real ' photos of yourself when there's all studio photo's that in some cases make an average woman look like a beauty.
Its about time somebody took some action against these swindlers and got them shut down for good.

I have been to China on a number of occasions and met several Chinese ladies from chnlove.com. All of them very nice ladies and guenuinly looking for a husband. I have not found me a wife but I have made several friends thanks to the initial communication thro' chnlove.
However and here is the downside, beware of the pictures, the ladies are not as young and beautiful in real life. If you plan to meet a woman make sure you either see her on a webcam or she sends you her real life pictures first, otherwise you will be disappointed!!
