GUY- I used dateInasia a month ago and only tried it out for a couple of days. But when I had more time I used it a 2nd round longer and found it produced better results.
The reason is that at peak times (their late evening OR your early hour in the morning) their ONLINE activity is close to 7,000. The problem is that they have many profiles around the world, actually. SO your best friend on DIA is knowing how to use or navigate their menus.
I did not find hongkongcupid good - low activity. And I did not find chinesekisses much better but more profiles. Now I know some others said they had better luck on chinesekisses. HOWEVER-both of these sites use the Buy Credit system.
SO to return to DIA - it's FREE. But you have to be committed to spending time to sift thru the Profiles and find suitable matches. A few tips:
The Profiles are listed by the most current login ("ONLINE" - > 1hr ago - > 2 hr ago, etc). You won't be able to go thru them all, so if you login in each day, just pace yourself and use the recycle period to your advantage.
A lot of ladies have basic english or more. So you can localize your searches to specific cities and regions / states. It works well. However one glitch I found was that many Filipino workers are listed under Hong Kong not the Philippines because they are migrant workers.
Have an IM (Instant Messenger) handy (on MSN - you can use hotmail, yahoo and AOL). Now a few ladies have 163. com or qq. com so you have to decide who will join whose IM. IF not, you can use your emails or the email on DIA.
Again, DIA is free. I haven't tried any other sites yet but with DIA you do need to set aside real time to find suitable matches. If you did like me - just try it for an hour - you will not get good results. Aside from this - even the Chats which did not result in suitable matches were often interesting. You DO need to put away your Photo-shoped mentality from Chnlove - because the photos are not touched. Ironically - you will find some Chnlove refugees posted on DIA.
