Hey, listen- I find all the Review Sites pretty helpful and entertaining TOO.I just read the snippet you posted. Go back and read ALL of them. I don't mean the ones that mysteriously appear ever so often, I mean ALL of them.
I just checked like 5 seconds ago and there's a "mysterious" post from someone claiming s/he went to China FIVE times (???), and each time (get this) the poster say each lady was as beautiful, or the same, as their photos.
Come on.
First, it's obvious the chnlove "moles" as
Sparks and the others call them have migrated to that site as well. I mean it's so LAME it's not funny.
I mean, it's one thing to say- "I found my lady on this specific search to be real" and leave it at that. But, the idea that the photoshop pictures are even remotely accurate is so ridiculous you know where the poster is going with it. I mean, even the folks ON chnlove would probably be honest with you. THEY even recommend that you get "casual" photos of their ladies coz they know guys' expectations will be blown out of the water when they see what the ladies REALLY look like.
I suspect the snippet you had was posted to show how "honest" chnlove is supposed to be, not sure. But hey, sorry to get off topic and all -
Me, I don't think a 'class action' is bad at all. I think what the others mean is that when we get posters here who are really paid staff members of agencies and chnlove, they are obviously "scheming" us right? But most of the GUYS here haven't retaliated and gone to chnlove and spammed THEM. (Not that we can, anyway - coz as you probably know, they CENSOR their "official" forum. Their policy is that you can only post "positive" messages. Well, what does that tell you about cus service and how much they REALLY care about the customer?)
As well, we have NEVER tried to tell folks that OTHER dating sites are better than chnlove. In fact, I think most of us think they are scams. This last point is important and that's probably why JFP went off about not scheming chnlove back - because every time we get these "prepared" posts on pfishy the posters (like Ms. You Know Who) claim that we are all consipring (scheming) against chnlove because we are with some other dating site? I mean, PUH-leeeeze. :Q
If you scroll down (way down), coucou and the others had a look at some of the other sites. Me too (hongkongcupid, chinesekisses, etc.) and most of us thought in the end that they were pretty LAME too. I found on the chinesekisses site that if you localized your search to "Hong Kong" you'd end up getting a lot of replies from HK Filipinos who were working as foreign domestics and caregivers wanting to get out of Asia. Like Fast. :O
At the beginning I liked them because you were NOT bombarded with phoney emails (like chnlove) and in fact some women were inactive. It was a breath of fresh air. But, the downside was that they really didn't have much of a list of ladies that fit what I was looking for.
If you have credits left and you think you've been scammed then I'd say roll with the punches. But don't do it via pfishy. Because as you know-they and all their 'barking dogs' read this site regularly. So best to lay low (under the radar), do your careful research and fight your battles. And when you got news, keep us posted ;) .... that's how the Game is played bro. :)))
