Hello nilsas, welcome to pfishy, did you make a formal complaint to chnlove customer service?
I ask, as chnlove once again appears to be more interested and pre-occupied sending out Form (Spam) "Notices" to their current, unsuspecting members that complaints are really limited to only one or two people, and in passing-off bad experiences as the work of "competitor" dating websites.
I am not suggesting your story is fake (just the opposite) but maybe with all the evidence facing them already that we have seen, it will make it that much more difficult for them to keep inventing falsehoods in a blatant attempt to "retain" whatever clientle and dignity they have leftover.
I am sorrry to hear about your story. It sounds perhaps Chnlove/ this particular "Agency" was seeking the 1/3 fee (for Successful Visit) by suggesting the lady had lost income from her work to show you around? From the stories I have read online, I would suspect that in certain cases, reluctant ladies are told to have a "good time," acting as surrogate tourguide at the gentleman's expense, because it really does not cost her a thing, even if she is not interested in the fellow to begin with. Your situtation is the first I have read where they have gone one step further (trying to use her "absences" from work) to help pay down the hidden "Success Fee".
I have received more than a "few" responses to our original post regarding Bad Experiences. So, a reminder to Newcomers that if you wish to add the Profile ID or just the three-digit Agency No. of any bad experiences you have had to our growing database, please email to:
friendly_ideas (a) yahoo. com
All responses are strictly confidentially unless you indicate you want to share the information with the current group, off line.
Some of the others have posted good information for: reporting Economic Crimes online, class action (lawsuit), and reporting experiences to the Chinese Embassy and Consulates, previously.
Perhaps it would be worthwhile to update the information or re-post again in the near future. The ongoing pfishy "Lists" of Tips and Advice would also be worth re-posting for newcomers.
