Hi there

  • Hi there

My name's Victor and I've read a lot pros n cons here on this forum before. Am not writing to comment on anyone, sometimes answers ain't only right or wrong absolute. Anyways, am just here to express how I feel and my experience, see if this would give you a better picture of so called truth?

At the very first moments when I saw this forum, it was in Feb. I was really frustrated after I read loads of negative comments made on this forum. Before I saw this forum, I have already been talking to Ivory (who's with agency p289) and I've fallen for her way earlier than all these information strike my head. However, I started to hesitate as I wasn't even sure if I was really talking to Ivory; or it was just some other translators (who're even possibly a male)? I thought about giving up in which I couldn't really let go? I've finally decided to make my China visit once, after my friend asked me whether I rather to be a fool of love or, a deserter of love. I chose to prove for myself.

I ended up going to China during Easter and stayed there for 20 days, which were indeed the most enjoyable 20 days in my 30ish years. And I've also got myself much clearer about the liability on letters and also successful fee.

I asked Ivory about my concerns that if she needs to pay membership fee or successful fee to the agency. She said that it's true that she needed to pay RMB 9800 (ard USD 1500) for her membership; whilst, she'll need to pay another RMB 10000 (again ard USD 1500) of successful fee if she's succeeded in searching for her overseas marrying target finally.

Ivory told me, she had divorced and got a kid with her, which made her almost hopeless to have her second chance in marriage; whereas Chinese men are pretty biased on divorced women. While women like her would want to search for someone sincere to spend her life with, they could only turn their sight overseas but not in where she lives. And that's the reason why she turned to the agency in assisting her match-up through chnlove and 10 other websites (those you guys stated before here); as to get her profile online and to translate letters for her, and she picked to join the agency package as she wanted to get her hope and fortune back.

On those other websites which don't pay translation fees to the agency like chnlove does, she could receive letters from 10-20 guys per day. In which, her agency will still have to translate for her whereas the fees could only incur to her.

As for the liability on letters, like Ivory said, she paid for a second chance for herself and she took the letters way more serious than everyone else. She understood that her only way to find her Mr. Right will be mutual understanding, and she would of course treat every letter importantly.

This is just a share of my experience, although what I learnt is not the whole picture is. I've also prepared that I'd probably be titled as a chnlove staff once this review is out. Well I'm not going to get things complicated, am just sincerely inviting everyone here to sit back with me, and point out which of the above was lying or incorrect.

Re: Coce11233, am really impressed about your good English, and am pretty sure that you should be able to meet someone for you without any agency's assistance. Would you please affirm something with me that, is there a penny passed to chnlove through your agency? If you did, it's going to prove that chnlove's lying on their website regarding no charges made to their ladies.

Re: jpfat , I can feel that you're an upright person, who's been insisting to do social activities you find right about. No matter if you're running the human right campaign in Canada; or, to hold the class action later to chnlove; I do agree that you have your own beliefs and freedom to do whatever you feel right about. And with all the reminders from you on the forums, I and Ivory have gone through some hurdles and we treasure even more on what our relationship now. Am sincerely hoping that you'll find the truth what you've been insisting for.

Warmest regards to every of you here.
