Just to let you know Sparky, in the time we were on Chnlove, not one of our Questions or Comments ever got posted (it's strictly 'moderated' by those responsible for the mis-deeds). That's why I say that I would not trust Chnlove and you have my word we gave them several opportunties to see if they were trying to turn a major scam into a legitimate company (they aren't).
Like Harold - I did not know BTAs and such were being posted as legitimate on Chnlove's forums. This is NOT good news, you know? It just goes to show you how much MORE I have yet to research or discover. lol
coucou ... Using IM is NOT a guarantee. Just to let you know, until I read the references posted today (below), I did not realize that a lot of Nigerian scams took place via IM. go to the 'dragon' website that Harold mentioned. When Sparky had first mentioned Nigeria, I thought he meant those email spams asking you to wire money. But apparently, the scammers are so good, they use IM, Skype, etc to convince you they are sincere.
Maybe I'm luckier than I think now- because the next step for me, at least, would have been deciding if I should transfer money to one of the ladies. This is why I'm adamant that others not make same mistakes.
Sorry for any type-o's, I'm going out this evening. Maybe with all of our own resources (my friend, Sparky's global travels) we should start our OWN legitimate matching service ! :D
