To liu juan/liujuan, proprietor of Qingdao Agency.
I have reread all recent posts and all the posts before and made a few myself. Apart from a few ill tempered comments in the hundreds posted here, I not seen any genuine disrepect for the women, or for China or the Chinese. Actually, given that many of the people here have been ripped off by unscrupulous Chinese businesses, the restraint shown in the comments is, I would say, quite remarkable.
I truly hope that you run a legitimate agency though your associations leave much to be desired. Based on my experience and those of others here on the site, chnlove is little more than a Chinese based version of some Nigerian style scam.
For example, it seems to be a mantra..."I have no webcam", "I can't check email", "I don't have a mobile phone". Is there any person under 40 who lives in a city in China who doesn't have access to the Internet anymore? Is there anyone under 60 who lives in a city without a mobile phone? Why do women often "go out of town" for weeks on end when the person they are writing to for months decides to come visit. Why does virtually everyone here describe that these are the stories we hear from the women/translators? Why the bait and switch described by some (showing/writing with one woman, showing up with another)? There are dozens of corroborating posts on this, just look at mark lark's post or jfitpat's posts, at random for instance. It would be clear that there is some kind of conspiracy, or at least, some understanding about answering men in this way. Is your agency involved with this? if a man asks for a mobile no, what's your agency's reply? Have you ever used the bait and switch when some poor smuck comes for a visit?
The other question, if you are a legitimate business, why on earth would you associate with these people at chnlove (you said you have you are proud to have partnered with them)? Why defend them? You said, basically, there are a few bad apples and no system is perfect. It seems to me, and I'm sure, every other person following these posts that chnlove is beyond redemption and there is no way anyone is going to believe yours is a legitimate agency as long as you "partner" with them.
