I rang and cancelled after a month and it showed on my profile that I had cancelled then next month they took another payment and changed my cancellation date to the next month. No way of contacting them and my bank tells me I can't stop them from taking payments - WHAT!!!!
by @helsbels
Do not even go there you can never cancel your account even if it says it will end on such a date. You can not contact the site via email or any other way the only way to stop your membership is to report your credit or debit card as stolen to the bank for a replacement so that your old one is now dead and stops these payments.

iSingles is a scam! I have been getting harrassed, cyber bullied and threatened by several members yet there is no option to report something like this which is very weird. Also there is no option for deleting my account and when I've tried to block the members who have either been harrassing, threatening or cyber bullying me it hasn't worked because afterwards they are able to connect to me through the iSingles webcam communicator. An investigation needs to be put into this site. One last thing I was once forced into having cyber sex with someone because if I didn't they would haunt me down and do terrible things to me and my family. This site is a scamful discrase and needs put down.

After having been on isingles for 2 months my Gold membership runs out 31 July. I must say that with 2 exceptions the vast majority of the women in there are a waste of time. Either they are unwilling to chat as the profile you present them with has to be perfect or what I have experienced in the vast majority of cases they are actually West African scammers. Their ploy is very simple they claim that they live in the UK but are actually in West Africa at present, either working, visiting or in many instances their whole family has been wiped out and they are all alone in the world. They want to return to the UK yet have no mates here, no family or even somewhere to stay. You can guess the rest , they are looking for a meal ticket. PLEASE BEWARE they will do anything to convince they are real including stealing other peoples pictures but with a bit of thought you can find them out and then they will just disappear. Unless you are looking for a mad time dont use this site at all.

Hi,
I joined isingles about a month ago. Have to say what a nightmare; lots of messages from married men, from men who live at totally opposite ends of the country who clearly just wantt o do the whole e-mail chat thing. If your looking to meet men to date my experience is this is not a good site to do that. I have to say I've had a much better experience with a free dating site - pleanty of fish and have met a number of men in person!

I decided to subscribe for 1 month only as Gold member and changed account status to standard member. Account said Gold status would run out at end of month; however money was taken from my account and status changed back to Gold. I got round it by obtaining a new bank card so no more money could be taken from my account. Now they are preventing me from reading any messages at all - today I have updated my profile, taking off all photos and personal info and have given stupid false details, stated the website is a con, and have given a false email addy. AVOID THIS WEBSITE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
by @witzendmomma
Subscribed once as Gold member got nothing but scammers from Nigeria who had a sick grandmother, they then changed the website so you could not unsubscribe and start frauduently milking your Debit/Credit card every month. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A good lesson for us all including myself.
With billions of webpages online it can oftentimes be hard to discern if certain sites are legitimate or scam and virus based. Luckily there are several online tools that users can take advantage of that will allow them to determine the legitimacy of the websites. These simple tools can show users how long a site has existed, if the site contains viruses and even the country where the site is located.
1.
Step 1
Check with the Whois directory, which is the ultimate way to find information about websites. Whois information can provide such statistics as when the site was created, who owns the site, the address of the site owner and even contact information for the site owner. If a site looks like a scam, the Whois directory can let you know if it was just created and if the supposed "U.S. based store" is registered in Nigeria or some other high fraud area. It's a good rule of thumb that if a site is registered as "Private," meaning no info is sho

I am extremely hacked off by iSingles.co.uk. my wife decided to join to make online FRIENDS only. Instead all she seems to get is weirdos asking if she is up for fun, or is she a bored housewife. this has left a strain on our marriage. she would like to unsubscribe from this site but find that she is unable to.Any genuine dating/friendship site should allow you to unsubscribe when you so desire.

I followed a link to this site via Facebook, and have since reported it to facebook (not that they'd care.) My alarm bells rang as soon as it required me to SMS in order to receive an activation code. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
