Without sounding too bitter, I tried a free standard and $20/mo silver profile and was harassed too death by a female member artimus4u) pretending to be MEN. She gathers information, posts it to 130 of her close Network Friends and chat buddies on that site and then twists it into a lie-post so other members will comment at her blog.
The site customer service is worthless. Most people that are long term members on that site are NOT there for sex. Network Friends means your personal & private info might end up pasted to all of them. Avoid members with double and triple digit scores of Network Friends.
If you seek a married partner, members like Artimus4u (also known as: 2grinns, PlainJaneInsane, RatFinkInPink, RinTinTinDog, WalkinGloryRoad) will create a fake profile to trick you into revealing your name, telephone numbers and sexual fetishes so she can post them on her blog to harass and ridicule you, or encourage members to post negative comments and make sophomoric accusations of mental health disease. If I wasn't half crazy for signing up in the first place, I eventually got frustrated and crazy wondering what fake was logging my emails and posting them on her/his blog.
It's a lot of high school bullsh*t that doesn't get you any action. It just gets your privacy violated and posted on fat, frumpy female blogs whose life is daily blogging on a slow loading, unencrypted web site. The chat rooms are for harsh, hateful lifers who are NOT there to hook up. The bulk folder gobbles up most men's email that are serious about dating and send contact information. I believe the site is for two types of people: bisexual men with no strings and forty-something unemployed women that make terrorizing, judging and intimidating members a lifestyle.
Don't waste your money because your paid profile can disappear w/o refund for no explanation. Unscrupulous members like artimus4u brag about hacking into yahoo accounts and post private emails, IM messages and conversations on the blogs. You'll either lose your mind or lose your identity.
