I actually had a positive experience on the site. I was a member for a year and a half, and at first wasn't sure what to expect. There were defo a few profiles i choose to decline, and then there were the ones i accepted but it never worked out.
That was until earlier last year, when my matchmaker, sent me David's profile. I wasn't instantly attracted to his pic, but my matchmaker had spoken with him on the phone, and said he seemed a really nice guy. So i decided to accept. She had gotten to know me pretty well over the 1.5 years, and knew what was most important to me, so pushed me into really considering it. Thank G-d i did, coz we were engaged 4 months later.
Have to say, when i signed up i wasn't expecting to be one of the stats who met their match, but decided to try it anyway.
Listen there are defo people who don't meet their match, but thats the same when going to a party, bar or whatever you're into.
At the end of the day, i thouoght it was best to try a few things out, and this is what ended up working for me.
The matchmakers looked out for me, and it was nice knowing that someone was thinking of ideas for me, even when i was sat on the couch at home and not socializing at singles events every night. You can go insane running from event to event...
Anyway, i was a lucky one, and hope wherever you guys meet your match, it happens soon. Good luck.
