I think the only advantage with Searchmate is that they check out potential dates in their own home, and that is what you pay a premium for. It certainly isn't their customer service. They send you a match about every 6 weeks (if you are lucky), and mostly inappropriate matches at that, and don't even bother to let you know if someone you are interested in is not interested in you (it is not their 'policy'). For the money Searchmate are charging you would expect a lot more matches and better customer service - I found them very arrogant and unhelpful when I dared to question their services. Frankly, save your money and be discerning enough to do the matching yourself - you will certainly find a lot more potential matches online than you ever would at Searchmate, unless you can afford the luxury of a very third rate service.
