I can see why some folks would rag on Singlesnet about the scammers and the "phishing"
I can see why some folks would rag on Singlesnet about the scammers and the "phishing" emails (Hi, "hot4u" in Baltimore wants to talk to you... etc.).
But most decent spam filters seem to catch them pretty well (at least the one for Gmail does), and the others are pretty obvious anyway. Otherwise, it's a relatively cheap (or sometimes free) service, and have actually met several nice women thru it, even if the 'chemistry' wasn't always best. As far as online dating in general, you can meet weirdos just as easily at work or thru friends as online, and at least online you get a chance to find out beforehand about their last 3 realtionships, angry ex-es, political or religious preferences, etc.
