i hope all the hot ladies on singlesnet text me at 480-236-8208 phillyphil in az.
oops! You're a guy. I guess I got lost when the drama started flowing.
Granted the guy below is a moron, since this is supposed to be a review of singles.net- not a singles ad. However, if you read what he said, he seemed sincere (maybe a little shallow minded, which is usually a good match for most women on dating sites)- so how did ppl like that ruin it for you? Is it the "ulike2mastrb8" alias that led you to judge him so poorly? Though it doesnt present a personality of integrity, it was probably meant to be funny- in poor taste, agreed, but to blame him for YOUR experience makes you look like one whom lacks integrity as well. If you say he ruined it for you, then why is your rating "neutral?" Sucker for punishment maybe? Your friend John is probably a great guy that cant figure out why you keep choosing losers over him. He probably gets tired of listening to your drama about how bad guys are. If John is still around, its because he is waiting for you to give HIM a shot.

I signed-up for Singlesnet a couple of years ago. After a few weeks, I decided that it wasn't for me, and I called to tell them so. This was when their Customer Service was Stateside, not in India, Nigeria, Kenya, or whatever other third-world country they have relocated it to. I asked for a refund, and they gave me the same song-and-dance that you've read about from other users below. But they did offer me two free years as compensation. Now, if McDonalds gives you a spoiled hamburger, and instead of giving you a refund, gives you two more spoiled hamburgers, something doesn't add up, does it? But I decided that was better than nothing, so I agreed.
The complaints about the Nigerian or Kenyan scammers is accurate. I receive email from them on a nearly daily basis. I've complained about this, and they say to use the Report/Block feature to deal with these emails. But like roaches, they continue to multiply. I also deal with "women" who email me with no photo attached to their profile. Without exception, all of the Nigerian/Kenyans have no photo, so I lump them all into the same category.
I think Singlesnet is a good concept, and I do believe there are good, honest people on the system looking for a genuine relationship. However, the scammers and Nigerian/Kenyans, as well as the sex freaks like ulike2mastrb8/mississippicuteguy/acuteguy4u2hold (or whatever other aliases he's operating under), have ruined it for the rest of us. When dealing with the Soviets, President Reagan said, 'Trust, but verify.' When dealing with users on Singlesnet, I say, 'Verify, then trust.'
As my friend John says, 'It is what it is.'
