This is a poorly designed site. It seems impossible to sort or narrow your searches, so even in my late 60s I get maybe 1500 matches that are impossible to sort through. They send potential matches that seem to have nothing to do with one's own profile (including ages that seem totally inappropriate--often 20+ years younger than I), and there's no way to turn off this feature. They also reject profiles without explanation other than saying to check their rules, which are as vague as can be. When I have written to ask the problem, I get a boilerplate, useless answer, and when I complain, I get no follow-up. I have a feeling that they have an algorithm that looks for words (e.g., "sex") with no regard to context (e.g., discussing a protastectomy) or perhaps political positions one may wish to include to help screen out certain people. I don't know, because they won't tell me. While on-line singles sites are generally of little use (to me, perhaps not to others), this is a particularly user-unfriendly one.
